I experienced something rather unusual today. Being home alone, I put on some music and stretched out on the bed to relax and listen. As I lay there, I closed my eyes for a few moments, and soon after, I began to have that sensation of "falling in a void" that probably many of us are familiar with. ... Shortly after that, the sensation somehow transformed, and I realized that I was slowly feeling like I was flying. I didn't know exactly where I was headed, but I didn't feel scared; I was actually quite relaxed and calm. Somehow, my flight seemed to be taking me towards a light that became increasingly strong as I approached it, almost to the point where it was hard to look at it. I tried to focus my gaze to see better what that light represented and if it wasn't what I thought it was... was I heading towards Heaven?! ????

At that moment, I began to hear a man's voice that seemed to be addressing me. Then I woke up from my sleep and realized it was a YouTube ad that had stopped my music, and what I thought was my flight to heaven was just a dream, the strong light actually being the sunbeams that were coming through the window because the sun was setting and I had forgotten to draw the curtains.

The biggest fantasy is that when you get old and retired, life is easy. People take care of you. You have all the time in the world to play. Bull! Reality is how on earth did we do everything when we did work!
I have two houses on the farm. The old farmhouse I rent and the main I live in with a boarder in the basement. He and a neighbor are pseudo sons. I rent the farm house cheap with the lease that they are part caretakers, do barn chores in morning, take care of what the house needs unless major. I have had the gamut of tenants. Ended up with one guy for 23 years who was like a brother. He was killed when the corn plant blew up and came down on him. He buddy took the house years ago. We got along well.
This tenant, a lawyer, grew up on a farm. Smoker and a bit partier. Ends up with lung cancer a year ago or two. Does chemo and radiation and puts it in its place. Regular maintenance chemo.
He gets health issues. Fluid in chest. Swelled arm. He went off chemo to get his hip replaced last spring. 6 weeks and seem all is well.
A week or more ago, he texts me he is having daughter take him to ER. Must have pulled arm and pain too bad.
He texts me he has major infection and a T12 compression fracture vertebra. Surgery is planned on shoulder, spine, etc. Daughter ends up texting, it is staph, he is in induced comma and bad shape. It ends up its in two heart valves and brain. He died a week ago or so. Hard to keep track of days.
She and I both blame the hospital giving him the staph. He had chemo the week prior. They couldn't notice it?
So now I sit with a vacant house that I have to deal with. I need that well for barn water. I am doing all the barn chores am and pm. I told neighbor he needs to move in. Oh..too big a bother in winter. Word of mouth to find a tenant. I am taping heavy vinyl over windows and pink insul foam. Try to shut house tight and keep gas low. 5% a week as of now. 50sF still. His daughter cant find info as to where he got gas. I called and found one that will bring it when I am at 25%. That is lower than I like.
So much for retirement. Good thing I am about the same as at 50..just a bit slower. Cause it is back at it for me. I will do an ad in spring unless neighbor decides to live up to the fact he will inherit along with my boarder so might as well start learning.

Pakistan’s top court directs central bank to issue funds for snap polls

The parliament had on Thursday (13) ruled it wasn’t possible to spare Rs 21 billion ($74.79 million) in funds for the snap polls, which the court had ordered.

Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial had summoned officials from the finance ministry, the central bank and the Election Commision of Pakistan (ECP) to his chamber on Friday to seek a reply on the funds, warning that non-compliance would have consequences.

The parliament had on Thursday (13) ruled it wasn’t possible to spare Rs 21 billion ($74.79 million) in funds for the snap polls, which the court had ordered.

The court order said the chief justice directed the central bank’s acting governor and the finance ministry to coordinate and “forthwith allocate and release” the money from federal consolidated funds no later than April 17.

Sri Lanka confident of Chinese support in debt restructuring: central bank chief

The central bank chief of the crisis-hit South Asian country said Sri Lanka is optimistic of China’s continued support, pointing to how Beijing “did the right thing in giving Sri Lanka financing assurances last time”.

“I think this is probably the first time China has given it that fast,” he said.

With the help of the International Monetary Fund and other partners who also helped share information, said Weerasinghe, the debt restructuring process can continue.

“Obviously China is a country that has been helping Sri Lanka for a long time and [it has[ invested a lot [in Sri Lanka]. [It will be in the] best interest of both China and Sri Lanka to complete this process soon and we can get back to repaying our debt service obligations,” he said.

“Sooner the better for both countries,” he added.

In February, China’s Exim Bank gave Sri Lanka a two-year moratorium on its defaulted loans and said it would discuss additional re-structuring within that ‘window’.

In early March, Sri Lanka secured a 2.9 billion dollar extended fund facility from the IMF after obtaining assurances of support from China.

My indicator is the amount of fraudulent profiles stacking up for the last 3 months. In two days I counted more than 20 new profiles with different photos of the same woman and her opening line is "I am a treasure girl" That is about half of the new membership so far this week.
While most of the bogus profiles send out messages and never return. Reporting them used to get their profiles deleted. The bad part (for the company) is it affected the numbers of new membership. Now, it appears more have joined the site, because the bogus ones are still here. Something that looks good if the place is up for sale. Lots of new profiles (real or fake) means more clicks and revenue from the advertisers.

I'm only basing my opinion on profiles of the women. That's all I check. My guess it could be the same for men's profiles. So as a whole, when someone says "This place is crawling with scammers" that statement has become true.

So I’m taking a hiatus from dating. The majority of dating sites are about men and women getting laid now. There’s no substance. You would think people wouldn’t be about superficial things but sadly they are. I don’t want to fool around anymore. I got a good report from the doctor. I have no STDs. That’s a freaking miracle of God. I want to keep it that way. I keep meeting men that just want sex. It’s not worth it to me anymore. You might be happy to know that I have dropped my boss altogether. He was just using me because once I told him no more sex he dodged my calls and text. He told me nothing was wrong. That’s what I hate about some people. Just tell me you just wanted sex for crying out loud. Don’t make me guess. Not sure I will live out my life single for the rest of my life but I’d rather do that than be a man’s pleasure toy or a petri dish of diseases. When I told my doctor’s office that I could have HIV they all wore masks. I was treated like an invalid. It was horrible. I don’t want that to be my life. I also dropped another man I was dating because same thing. He wanted sex on the first meeting. Then one of my childhood friends that I reconnected with…same thing. He told me I wanted you immediately after we reconnected. What’s wrong with these men? I guess I’m just at an age where they are h*rny 24/7. I am too but I don’t want it to be cheap anymore. Gonna just ignore all these game players now. Text me I’m ignoring you period. Doesn’t feel good when it’s done to you does it.

Yesterday, I deleted all the dating apps that I had on my phone, and cancelled the subscriptions. It's a money pit anyway, and I didn't really get any messages from people I matched with. One of the apps is set up, so the woman is the first to write. After 24 hours of no messages, the match expires.

I was on that app for quite a few months. I think for about a year. During that time, I had matched with five people, but no messages came after the match was mutual. Finally, I had had enough and cancelled the subscription, deleted my profile and the app itself from my phone.

The other one was a no match bonanza as well, so I threw in the towel and cancelled the subscription, deleted my profile and deleted the app as well.

I now only have two dating profiles. One on Facebook dating and this. I use this profile for the blogs, so technically it doesn't count. Will I be back on those apps again? No. Too much time and money wasted.

Today, I found a job posting for a warehouse job at a company that's literally in nerd heaven. They are looking for someone who has warehouse experience, and is familiar with picking and packing orders - which fits me well. Deadline for applications is tomorrow, so I have sent an application today. Hopefully I will hear back from them soon. If not, I'm just going to continue working where I currently work.

Men and sex

Believe it or not women have a hard time understanding why men love sex.

First of all, you must understand the men's system. They did not ask for it because they did not create themselves.

Did you know that 95% of healthy men wake up with an erection? Did they bargain for it? no!
Did you know that the p*nis has a mind of its own?

A man could read the Bible and his p*nis would just stand up.
A man can go to sleep and wake up with an erection.

Have you ever asked yourself why men are not in their period, cramps or any bad mood? This is how God created them.
A man is naturally always ready for sex. Rub a guy's head, he already thinks you want sex.
