When Lamech was 182 years old, he had a son. He called his son Noah. Lamech said, ‘He will help us in our difficult work on the land. We have pain when we work on the land to get food. That is because the Lord God cursed the ground.’
After Noah was born, Lamech lived for 595 years. During this time, he had other sons and daughters. Lamech was 777 years old when he died.
After Noah was 500 years old, he became the father of Shem, Ham and Japheth.

Then the Lord said to Cain, ‘Where is Abel, your brother?’ Cain replied, ‘I do not know where he is. Must I always keep my brother safe?’

Cain said to the Lord, ‘That punishment is too much! It will give me too much pain.
Now you are making me leave my home here on the land. I will be far away from where you are. I will be a traveller without a home. If someone sees me, they will kill me.’
But the Lord said to Cain, ‘No! If anyone kills Cain, I will punish that person seven times more than I have punished you.’
Then the Lord put a special mark on Cain. This was to tell other people that they must not kill Cain.
Cain went away from the Lord. He went to live in the land called Nod, which is east of Eden.

Then God put cherubs to be guards for the garden. God put them on the east side of the garden. There was also a sword of fire that moved quickly from side to side. As a result, nobody could go near to the tree that gives life.

In the evening there was a nice cool wind. The Lord God walked in the garden. The man and the woman heard the sound of the Lord God. They hid themselves behind some trees, so that God would not see them.
The Lord God called out to the man. He said to him, ‘Where are you?’
The man replied, ‘I heard you in the garden. I was afraid because I had no clothes. So I hid myself from you.’
The Lord God said, ‘Who told you that you had no clothes? Have you eaten fruit from the tree that I said you must not eat?’
The man said, ‘It was the woman that you put here with me. She gave me some fruit from the tree. So I ate it.’

A river began in Eden. It went through the garden and it gave water for the ground. After that, it became four separate rivers. 11 The name of the first river is the Pishon. It goes through the whole land of Havilah. There is gold in that land. 12 The gold there is very good. Bdellium and onyx stone are also in Havilah.

Someone's right to protect their stock (read: livelihood) is pretty much unquestioned.That applies not only to dogs, but natural predators as well ... even including - at least in some states - protected species such as raptor birds.
A raptor in/near a pasture during calving season ... His protection has run out ...

Hello Mer,No need to apologize. I understand where you are coming from.
Just to clarify something, I do not condone men sleeping around either...that leads to issues with men as well. The issues it leads to with men are somewhat different with the issues it creates in women sleeping around.
When men sleep around, it is mostly a physical connection that gets created...nothing more. That is with most men. When a woman sleeps around, for the most part, a mental/psychological connection gets created. I am not saying one is better or worse than the other...but they are different is the point I am making.
What the studies have shown, when women sleep with over 5 men, there is a large likelihood they will initiate the divorce in a marriage. If a college educated lady sleeps with over 5 men, there is around a 90% likelihood they will initiate a divorce. These are stats that exist.
So why is that? Why do women initiate divorce on such a high level?
When women sleep with 5+ different men, their ability to pair-bond diminishes greatly. They compare their current partner to all of their previous partners. They convince themselves that they had to "settle" for their current partner...and women are convinced not to settle. Therefore, through time, they become resentful toward their partner and eventually leave them. The more men they have slept with, the more comparisons they can make....the quicker they become resentful for settling. Look up the term "alpha-widow"....this happens so often that they actually came up with a term for it.
This is the main reason why men would want to avoid women with a high "body count." There are many more.
But to be clear, I do not condone anyone sleeping around....men or women.
If you want me to share other reasons why men should avoid women with high "body-counts," let me know. I am happy to share more.

So miclee do you believe that she was right to shoot Cricket ? If she wanted it to be a hunting dog she should have given it the right instruction.During puppy hood, our focus should be on our pup’s socialisation and building their confidence. Socialisation is not just about exposing our dogs to lots of things, people and dogs thoughtlessly – it should be about ensuring they are not overwhelmed, have positive experiences of all these things and learn how to be calm, relaxed and confident around them.
She did none of the above and there are absolutely NO excuses for what she did. In my opinion she is not fit to have ANY animal from the way she disrespects and abuses them. She wouldn't get away with that in the U.K. that's for sure but then again we are not a gun toting nation.

It doesn't take much common sense to know if you have a dog you are training to hunt birds you keep it on a lead especially with a hen farm right next door to its home. You shouldn't let any dog roam around the countryside let alone a hunting dog .Fact.
This apology for a human being is so far up herself it beggars belief. She's the crazy one not the dog or the goat or the 3 horses or any other animal she shot just because it annoyed her.

In the Guv's defense ...Doing in Cricket may be the Least crazy part.
If she was going after livestock - chickens - that's an automatic death sentence in a rural setting.
That's not just commonly understood, it's written into state laws.
At least one state has extended that ruling to a dog chasing protected game animals... i.e. whitetail deer.
The thinking being that killing the dog not only protects the livestock/game animals, also eliminates it from the gene pool.
